What is required depends on your business and tax regime. Have your accountant check your template; this tool helps you produce a clean document, it is not advice.
A quote is a price offer sent before the sale, with a validity date. An invoice records the sale once made and is the accounting record. The tool does both: pick the type at the top of the form.
