Free barcode labels, ready to print
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Make labels with the product name, price and a barcode any scanner can read. Print them on a thermal roll (40×30, 50×30 or 58×40 mm) or on an A4 sheet. Everything happens in your browser.

Which barcode should I use?
EAN-13 is the code on packaged goods: 13 digits, the last one a check digit. Type 12 digits and the tool works out the check digit for you.
For your own items (loose goods, clothes, parts), click "Create a code": the tool makes an EAN-13 starting with 2, a prefix GS1 reserves for in-store use, so it cannot clash with a manufacturer's code.
Any other text (for example CAFE-001) is printed as Code 128, which every USB and Bluetooth scanner reads.
Printing labels that scan
- Thermal roll: pick your label size; each label prints on its own page at the exact size.
- In the print window, choose the label printer and keep the scale at 100 % (not "fit to page").
- A4 sheet: 24 labels of 70×37 mm, the most common sheet format.
- Test one label with your scanner before printing a hundred.
In PosSwift, labels come straight from the till
PosSwift prints barcode labels sized to your printer's dot grid so they actually scan, and scanning at the till adds the product to the cart. On Android tablets and Windows PCs, with 58/80 mm thermal printers over USB, Bluetooth or WiFi.
