Roadmap
Last updated: 26 July 2026
What is live today, what we are building, and what we are still thinking about. We do not publish dates — a dated roadmap turns into a broken promise the first time something slips.
Shipped and live
- Offline-first checkout — sell, print, and scan with no network connection.
- Stock movements, including damaged and lost stock tracking.
- Customer records and invoicing.
- Reporting on sales, staff activity, and stock.
- Multi-language interface: English, French, and Arabic, switchable mid-shift.
- 14-day trial that starts automatically on first launch, no card and no activation code.
- Android tablet build.
In progress
- Licence synchronisation between the app and our licence server, so tier changes apply without reinstalling.
- Windows desktop build — the application runs, and packaging and distribution are being finished.
- In-app purchase and upgrade flow, so you can change tier without emailing us.
Nothing in this list is available to customers yet. Do not plan around it until it moves to the section above.
Exploring
- Optional encrypted backup, opt-in and off by default — your data would still live on your device, with a copy only if you ask for one.
- Enforcement of the per-tier device limits that are currently published but not technically enforced.
- Automatic updates for the Windows build.
- A wider range of tested peripherals — printers, scanners, and cash drawers.
Exploring means exactly that: we think it is worth doing, and we have not committed to it. If one of these would change your buying decision, tell us — customer demand moves items up this list faster than anything else.
Not on the roadmap
So you can plan honestly, these are things we are not currently building: a cloud-hosted till that requires connectivity, an iOS application, a public API, and a white-label version. If any of these are essential to you, PosSwift is probably not the right fit today.
