Getting started

PosSwift is an Android-first POS. To follow this guide you need:

• An Android 9+ tablet (1.5 GB RAM minimum, 64 GB storage recommended).
• A working power outlet and Wi-Fi for first-time setup.
• Optionally — a thermal printer and barcode scanner.

1. Install the app

Sideload the APK from your activation email, or install from the Play Store once your trial is provisioned. The install size is under 80 MB.

2. Enter your activation code

After install, the splash screen will prompt for an activation code. Paste the code you received by email. The device binds to your trial — no account creation required.

3. Configure your store

Fill in business name, currency, default tax rate, and choose your default language (EN / FR / AR). You can change these later from Settings.

4. Add your first product

Go to Products → Add product and create one. Barcode is optional — you can type the product name or scan in.

5. Ring up your first sale

Tap POS, select your product, accept cash. The receipt prints if a printer is connected; otherwise a digital copy is queued.

That's it. Everything from here is configuration: more products, more staff, hardware peripherals, and reports.
