Billing and licensing

PosSwift has two licensing models: subscription for Basic and Pro, lifetime for Enterprise.

Trial

• 14 days, no credit card.
• One trial per device fingerprint (ANDROID_ID-bound).
• Converts to paid plan if you provide payment within the trial window.

Subscription (Basic, Pro)

• Billed monthly in MAD.
• Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing or by email.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Payment failures show a 7-day grace banner before the register goes read-only.

Lifetime license (Enterprise)

• One-time payment, no recurring charges.
• Tied to the company, not a single device.
• Includes dedicated account manager and signed DPA.

What happens to data if you cancel

Your data stays on the tablet. Cancellation doesn't wipe anything. The register switches to a read-only mode after grace period — you can export receipts, stock, customer ledgers — you just can't ring new sales until billing is restored.

License revocation

We only revoke licenses on (a) confirmed chargeback, or (b) detected piracy (cracked APK distribution). In both cases, the device gets one email warning 7 days before lockout.
